Learning to Trust Again When It Still Hurts
Trust doesn’t always break clean.
Sometimes it shatters in slow motion—
through disappointment, delay, silence, or betrayal.
But here’s what I’m learning:
God is not the one who failed me.
People did. Circumstances did. My own expectations did.
But God? He was steady. He was still.
This season is stretching me to rebuild trust.
Not in people. Not in timelines.
But in God’s character.
He doesn’t lie.
He doesn’t ghost.
He doesn’t gaslight.
Even when He’s quiet—He’s working.
Even when I’m hurting—He’s healing.
So I’m taking small steps back toward trust…
Not all the way forward,
but forward enough to keep moving.
📖 Psalm 56:3 (NIV)
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.”
🌱 Pause & Unfold:
Can I admit where I stopped trusting?
Can I name what I’m still carrying?
Can I allow God to rebuild trust one step at a time?
Rooted in purpose and unfolding in grace, 💛
