Who Is Sharmain?
I’m not just the titles I’ve carried
- Mother,
- Grandmother,
- Survivor,
- Storyteller
I’m a woman who has lived through deep pain and chosen to unfold anyway.
Born into chaos, shaped by trauma, and refined by fire, I’ve walked through betrayal, church wounds, single motherhood, and systems that tried to define me — and yet here I am. Not perfect, not polished, but present. And still believing that healing is holy.
This blog isn’t about pretending I have it all figured out. It’s about unfolding — piece by piece, truth by truth — and letting God reframe the parts of me that life tried to erase.
I built Sharmain Unfolding as a space for the in-between people — the ones who still believe but sometimes struggle, who still hope but carry heartbreak, who want God but don’t want the performance.
If that’s you, welcome home.
💛 Sharmain
